Van Hove NV, founded in 1886, is a family-run company specializing in the import and distribution of premium delicacies across the Benelux. With a catalog of over 2,500 exclusive products, they serve specialty stores, caterers and hospitality professionals. Despite their strong reputation and product range, their previous website no longer reflected their quality, heritage or professionalism.
We were brought in to design a new website that proudly showcases Van Hove’s rich history, makes their catalog easily accessible, highlights their certifications, and reinforces trust with both loyal and new customers.
1. Outdated digital identity
Van Hove’s previous website no longer matched their high-end image or reflected the legacy they had built over generations. This created a disconnect with their professional clientele. We redefined their digital presence through refined typography, warm visuals and structured storytelling that elevates the brand while staying authentic.
2. Organizing an extensive catalog
With more than 2,500 products across 30+ categories, structure was everything. We designed a clear, user-friendly catalog that lets clients browse effortlessly through product categories — whether they’re looking for truffle oil or fine Italian pasta. Navigation is fluid, discoverability is high, and the catalog feels as curated as their selection.
3. Maximizing lead generation
Previously, the downloadable catalog was publicly available, which meant missed opportunities to understand and engage their audience. We introduced a simple email capture system that unlocks the full catalog — turning casual interest into a valuable lead while respecting the user experience.
4. Highlighting quality & sustainability
Van Hove holds certifications such as IFS Logistics, CERTISYS Organic and HACCP — but these weren’t visible enough. We gave these quality markers a prominent role across the website, reinforcing trust and clearly communicating their commitment to excellence and responsible sourcing.
5. Empowering internal marketing
Simple content updates used to require external support. Not anymore. With Webflow CMS, the Van Hove team can now manage updates, publish blog content and control product information — all without touching code. It’s fast, reliable and completely in their hands.
